In 2017, FUTURe CITy initiative was launched by Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering (CECE) in the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). FUTURe CITy initiative at 激情快播 brings together a group of researchers and educators with a vision to synergistically explore the wide-ranging technological advances towards better serving urban residents. Towards furthering this vision, we envision this graduate certificate in Smart Cities to provide engineers and urban planners with a background in Smart Cities.
The certificate offers a 9 credit program with flexible course options listed below.

Application Deadlines
Please note these important policies regarding certificates:
- Certificate courses cannot be substituted. Any substitution will require an approved Graduate Studies petition. Please note that the new petition form will require Dr. Gordon鈥檚 (Associate Dean of Graduate Affairs) approval.
- Transfer courses cannot be used toward a certificate.
- Students must apply and be admitted into their certificate program when completing their last required course. The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) will not award a certificate without a GPA for a program.
